Due to the epidemic situation, Hungary’s largest animation film festival – KAFF in Kecskemét – will be held between 11th and 15th August 2021.
Registration for the 15th Kecskemét Animation Film Festival has started. You can enter the competition program with Hungarian and European animated films made after January 1st, 2019, without any thematic restrictions.
The competition for Hungarian artworks is open to six categories – full-length film, TV special, short film, television series, applied animation (advertising, signal, preview, headline, video clip) and student film – while in the European film category full-length films, TV -specials and television series will compete. Registration of movies is free of charge. The deadline for entries is March 31st, 2021. During the 15th Kecskemét Animation Film Festival, the audience will be able to see the entire program in free screenings. KAFF aims to draw the most from the domestic and international animated film production of the last two years. In addition to the competition programs, thematic panoramic screenings, retrospective selections, film specific discussions and master classes, as well as workshops and exhibitions will be organized this year.
